Do you remember the times
when you were in love with me?
When I was first on your mind?
They seem so far away now,
And I'm tired of saying it's ok.
Because its not.
You don't return my calls
or read the poems that I write to you.
You just smile and say you did,
but I know you don't

But it's ok,
I don't really care anymore.

This is exactly not how
I planned for things to be
between you and I.
My concious has been thrown on the floor.
And my white knuckles should show you
just how much I care,
but I hate being the one
who had to care more.

Do you remember everything
that I said to you?
All those clever little lines
That I should've saved for someone else.
Instead I wasted them on you.
And your lust that's dressed as love
doesn't fool me anymore.
Maybe you can use it on him.
